Biographie
DAX RIDERS has worked with and remixed a vast array of artists, from Serge Gainsbourg, Nile Rodgers, Run-DMC, Marc Almond, Aleem, Disiz la Peste, Lord Kossity, Grace Jones, Kiss (Coca-cola), Queen (Evian)… Combining many influences, their sound feels unified with some seriously catchy melodies.
In 2001 DAX RIDERS signs Backintown with Universal. The LP is distributed across Europe, followed by a tour across Europe. Their live performances are completely brilliant and unique, shaking the world of electronic music with a true attitude.
Tracks from Backintown are endorsed by ads, movies, TV series, cartoons, FIFA Soccer video game, such as Escaflown (GR, The Sopranos (USA), Wasabi (FR)… Now considered as a French house classic, the track People from the same album stayed in the top 50 charts for 17 weeks. The video also became extremely popular on MTV, VIVA and many other music channels across Europe.
In 2005 DAX RIDERS record Hot released under Universal. Coca Cola 2005 summer ad theme and the French stadium anthem both originated from this album. The band have been on a hiatus from 2006 to 2010 appearing and collaborate on numerous project in France such as Lord Kossity and play with Disiz la Peste till the end of 2009.
2007 marks a is a turning point for the band in the band future while they meet with Cerrone, compose and produce Lie To Me feat. James D Train and Barbara Tucker. The Supernature Project, produced by Cerrone and featuring DAX RIDERS, makes Cerrone’s biggest hit single hype once again, despite being this untouchable cult song for many producers and DJs over the years.
