► Concept

Age of Love remains the biggest retro success story in the country. Even after 7 years of existence they sell out time after time and this summer they hosted their own stage on Tomorrowland for the second time around. On each Age of Love event the glorious days of Belgium’s rich electronic history and the high nights of the Belgian clubs are relived.

Age of Love features the best tracks of the nineties and this in a setting that completely restores the atmosphere of those magical times: dancers, lasers, gadgets and more bring the public back to the time when we all partied for days on end. While doing so, Age of Love not only attracts those people that were there back in the days but also the new generations who discover and fall in love with the music that’s at the basis of today’s electronic scene, for the first time.

Together we all create the early atmosphere of love, late night dancing and beautiful house music. We do it to the best classics around, brought by international guests and the best Belgian dj’s from the biggest clubs that were around.

The November edition is always one of the first to sell out so we urge everyone who wants to be there, to get their tickets as soon as they can. And for those who want to make the experience extra special, there are also VIP tickets available for the special VIP deck with the best views and finger-food.

Whatever formula people choose, they will be submerged in extravagant dancing action, loud cheers, big smiles all around and hands up in the air on numerous occasions. And they will hear those tracks that send chills up everybody’s spine and that make everyone’s temperature rise: those true old school classics which are still engraved in everyone’s memory and record collections.

Tracks like ‘Liquid Skies’ and ‘Dance for Eternity’ from our main international guest, Kai Tracid. He has been constantly appearing in the German dance charts, which he hit with several number ones, since 1997. More than 50 releases of his Tracid Traxxx Label have been (or still are) in the dance charts. He has more than 100 productions to his name and pseudonyms. As a DJ he remains worldwide recommended – more than ever. And on top of that, there are all the guest performances and interviews on several radio stations and his appearance in the Hollywood-movie “Hey DJ!” A big superstar with an extensive résumé and two of Age of Love’s favorite classics, we can’t wait to hear him play.

He will be joined by Belgium’s finest as Georges who only plays on his own La Bush Reunion Events once every four months. And very occasionally he will come out for very special events, such as this one. This means he will bring us a very exclusive set. One of those that made him famous to this day ..

Next up is Yves Deruyter who played all famous Belgian clubs such as Globe, Barocci, Cherrymoon, Extreme, Carat, BBC, La Rocca and many more. He just celebrated his 30th anniversary in the business and intends to stay in it for a very long time to come. One thing’s for sure, on Age of Love, he’s always welcome.
Frank Struyf aka Zolex also has such a long history you could write a book on his career. In the early nineties he became resident of the mythical club Globe and later after-club Carat. In 1993 he created ‘Time Modulator’, a timeless classic sold all over the world. On his own label Zolex Records he delivers top quality Electronic, Techno and Trance releases. He was a resident at Barocci (NL), Katsu and frequently guest DJ in Extreme, Cherrymoon and Illusion as well as a lot of international events.
Strongly influenced by the UK sound during the nineties, Quincy Steveninck started to make a reputation for himself in 1996 being one of the first dj’s and promoters to introduce progressive house music in the Belgian club scene. Now, he’s the leading force behind and resident of not only Age of Love but lots of retro parties as History of Trance, Cherry Moon Retro, Extreme Reunion, Teknoville, …
Tofke started djing at underground parties in Belgium in 1989. Soon he played all over Europe and in Ibiza’s major clubs such as Privilege, El Divino, Amnesia and underground parties like Circo Loco @ DC10 and Km5.In Belgium he was resident in almost every club as: La Rocca, Pacha Brussels, At The Villa, The Globe, Bump @ Fuse, Carat, Illusion, H2O, Noxx,…
Philippe Traikos started out as resident dj. of the Cheops in Izegem, before moving on to At the Villa on Saturday and Boccacio on Sundays. He was also a regular at the famous Balmoral. During the nineties he produced several tracks for Music Man and Mackenzie Records.
Marko was the resident of the legendary “La Rocca on Sunday” nights for 14 years, a remarkable achievement. Marko has often been featured in important line-ups at gigs such as the House Torhout festival, the Dance-a-Delic festival, Sensation White and Cruises to Pleasure. Not to forget the huge City Parade where he also had his own float during many years. Marko’s obvious passion for Dj’ing is derived from the vibe he gets from the dance-floor as well as the vibe he gets from the music he plays: Marko plays from the heart!
